Private Lessons for Rising Stars (Bronze Pilot Program)

What is the Bronze Pilot Program?

Is your skater interested in trying private lessons for the first time? The Bronze Pilot Program may be the perfect fit! This program allows skaters to participate in a 30-minute private lesson on any of our bronze, silver, or open sessions with a coach, at a discounted rate of $10 per session. This offer is available until April 2025.

Program Goal:
The Bronze Pilot Program is designed to give families the opportunity to experience private coaching without a significant ice cost commitment. It’s a great way for younger skaters to start private lessons without needing to manage self-directed practice time right away. We encourage all skaters to consider adding private lessons to their group sessions. Once skaters reach Star 2, they will require a private coach and access to full ice for their free skate programs and dances.

Program Requirements

• Eligibility: Skaters registered in the Rising Stars or Pre-Bronze group are eligible.
• Session Details: Skaters can participate in one 30-minute time slot per week.

On the Ice

Skaters can choose between private or semi-private lessons. A semi-private lesson includes two skaters who share the same lesson at the same time. The lesson fee is divided between the two skaters.

While many Starskaters also have self-directed practice time, Bronze Pilot Program skaters will be supervised during their private or semi-private lessons. After the lesson ends, skaters will leave the ice.

Program Cost

• The cost of the ice time is $10 per session, paid directly to the club for the duration of the Winter Season (until April 2025).
• The private lesson fee is arranged directly with the coach, and parents will pay the coach directly.
• No credits will be issued for missed sessions.

How to Sign Up

Interested in enrolling? Here’s how:

1. Choose a Private Coach:
   Visit our Coaches Page to select a coach based on availability and who you think will connect best with your skater.

2. Contact the Coach:
   Reach out to the coach to confirm availability and schedule a session. Be sure to mention you're interested in the Bronze Pilot Program when communicating.

3. Confirmation:
   Once you’ve confirmed your session, the coach will connect with Amber to finalize the details, and the ice time fees will be invoiced directly to your Uplifter account.
