Rising Stars
Are you passionate about figure skating? Do you have the drive to excel and the ambition to compete?
We have a limited number of spots available in our exclusive Rising Stars Program !
This invitation-only program is designed for skaters aged 4-9 who have been recognized by our coaching staff for their natural talent. Rising Stars runs alongside our Canskate and Fundamentals programs, providing your skater with the unique opportunity to work towards their Canskate badges while also progressing through the STAR 1 figure skating tests all within the same season. STAR 1 is Skate Canada's first level of competitive figure skating and is ideal for skaters aiming to advance in the sport.
Rising Stars sessions are held once a week on Wednesdays evenings. All participants must also be enrolled in either Canskate or Fundamentals.
Our exceptional coaching team, ranging from provincial to national-level experience, will guide skaters through jumps, spins, stroking, and edges in a fun, engaging, and challenging environment. Spots are limited, so don't miss out—sign up now!
How to Join: There are two ways to become a part of Rising Stars:
- Your Canskate coach may identify you during your regular session and invite you to join.
- Attend our seasonal try-out.
